I have just had an interesting conversation with the salesman at my local dealer, he was saying International Touring models are limited to 110 MPH. Apparently some German rider went down the Autobahn at 130 MPH on a 2017 CVO tourer and it went into a vicious wobble and spat him off!!!
True or not?? it is an interesting statement from the dealer.
My '17 was limited to 105 on the dyno. 2 different dyno runs, one with speedo plugged in, and 1 unplugged. Yield was different results. Yes there is a limiter- somewhere between 105 and 107 mph. Mother Harley says +\- 10% variation on the speedo is "normal"

Reason: Typo
My understanding on H-D touring bikes is that they have been limited to 116 mph by the ECM. But that CVO's were 126.
Cycle World mag. did a comparison on a Goldwing and a CVO Road Glide a couple of years ago and both topped out at 126. The mag stated they felt both could do more but were limited.
