Oil breaks down duh. You can change the oil when it gets dirty, another duh. The whole point of oil is to lubricate the engine and prevent it from not destroying itself.

Do you want to run cooler temps for longer service intervals? You still have to change the oil anyways every 5K, so why does it even matter? Oil is suppose to break down, do you not want it to breakdown?

Luckily my bike consumes oil down to the last 3 ticks of the oil dipstick when it is time to change the oil.
Huh??

The readings are engine temp, mph, head temp, intake air temp, map. here are my readings, your results may differ...also, I am not sure where the pv gets these readings from...
That's interesting. I'm assuming these numbers are at an idle and not going down the road?

Took a ride yesterday, checked when I got home and the temp was just over 230. This is with Mobil 1 (just did 1K service) and just under 80d air temp, but the riding was low speed and stop and go before I checked.

I would say my overall reaction to the oil temps on this bike is that they are similar to my TCs with oil coolers, and much cooler than my TC96 before oil cooler ('11 FXDWG).

If you look at the top pic in the right upper corner you will see the mph which is 72.70 mph...yes I had a camera in one hand and the pv in the other. The bike was on auto pilot.....
