What improvements did you make to the driveline?
For starters, we retuned the primary. The compensator bearings were changed, and the ramps changed. This is another place where we analyzed the crap out of it. We completely correlated our models with many vehicles. The goal was smooth torque in all conditions. Complementing that, the clutch was changed to an Assist and Slip Clutch. As you apply load, it pulls the clutch together to minimize spring pressure. Less lever effort per foot-pound that way. Whenever you up performance, you need more spring in the clutch. went with a hydraulic Brembo activation system across the board on the Touring models to offset that. Its better at the lever ergonomically.
The Assist and Slip Clutch first came out in 2013 CVO bikes. I know, my 13 CVO King has one. Then they were in 15 put in the limited and the ultra low.
Only two things new for 17 with the Assist and Slip clutch, first it is now in all touring models not just a few. Second, the three springs in the 17 are weaker than the ones in the 13-16 bikes. While it's a little easier lever pull, its a loss of torque holding. 115 now, 125 with the old springs in the 13 through 16

Hence the reason when installing the '114 & '117 kits they include stronger clutch springs.
Gamma, I changed that first and it brought the engagement closer but was still stiff, now with the Aim the pull is easier. Just to let you know, I had to send my lever to Softbrake as he has no cores to use yet. Took less than a week to send and get back, Ric has good customer service.
It's hard to tell from that pic how the length of springs compare, but the orange springs that came with mine are shorter than the stock ones they replace
