Anyone else install one yet?
Noticeable difference during the hot weather?
Installed mine this weekend on my Ultra Classic, pretty straight forward install and it took about 4 hours. The included relay and harness does have you intercepting the ABS system (assuming for speed reference for fan on and off cycling), so for those who plan on doing it yourself, it will throw an ABS code until the digital tech enables it at the dealer.
Looking forward to seeing how this works in tandem with the fan assist oil cooler I installed....now I just gotta get to 1000 miles and then have the dealer enable both of those and the 1K service.
I had this installed on my bike at time of delivery. Not hot enough or enough miles, 250, to know how much cooler it will make the bike in summer conditions. It is quiete and pulls a lot of air. I had to look down to see if it was on when I stopped at a light. I put my hand under it to feel how much air was being pulled.
I'm sure it will be nice this summer when setting in traffic.
The main function of the fan is to draw the excess heat off that rear cylinder in slower moving speeds. That will help keep Mama happier on the back in hot conditions. Anything that helps keep her happy is worth its weight in gold to me. So far it seemed to work pretty good. We'll see this summer.
Quik update, it was about 80 degrees yesterday with some wind and I got caught for an hour on the interstate. Sitting still or rolling about 20mph the fan seemed to make the bike far more comfortable than what I was used to on my 2012.
For the money I'm glad I had it installed.
I just installed the Coolflow on my 17 Ultra and the ABS light is on (hasn't been updated by the dealer yet) and the ABS light is on. Just making sure yours went off when they programmed it, call me paranoid!

installed cool flow myself and plugged into the rear abs sensor by accident. Smoked it...same deal solid abs light
happened just before my 1K service, brought the bike in paid for the service and they replaced the rear abs sensor under warranty.
Edit:
fan worked great today (90 degrees) in traffic.
