I already did the V&H power duals & mufflers, intake, stage 2 cam kit, ape bars, led lights, 13" shocks, and some other stuff. I really don't have much left as far as stock items are concerned. It's almost a completely different bike. not sure how warranty fits into all of this but what the heck...i'm having fun...
You take a bike like my shovel for a little ride you'd come back and kick dirt at that thing.
Apples and oranges my friend I never could get my head around that hump the tank style riding.
LOL!, I'd LOVE a ride on your shovel, but given the opportunity I wouldn't necessarily trade a slender limber ballerina for a curvy MILF; I'd enjoy them both-after all, variety is indeed the spice of life.
But Apples and Oranges for sure, sportbikes are uncomfortable, suited for 20 minute sprints on the track; TMI-my 'taint can't take more than an hour before I've had enough. BTW, all sportbikes have similar tanks, shaped that way for gripping the sides with their thighs during cornering, and the "hump" is for resting the torso when tucking in for high speed runs-comfortable, no; exhilarating, YES!
I did some modding on my 2016 because I was not happy with the way it performed but that's not the case with my 2017. Stock it runs better than any other Harley I have had. That's why I will leave mine stock other than maybe adding a little noise with some slipons.
agreed. I've been racing sport bikes for years.. plenty of track time under my belt. Got serious at one point and I spent those years modding track bikes to the fullest. It never really came close to the cost of my SGS with its all of its mods. This new touring toy is expensive. Sport bikes are fun though.. but wife won't let me go back so I envy you.
