Stock FLHR seat is not cutting it for me, or the misses.
Had a mustang on my old softail and it was great.
What do you have and why do you like it.
I am 6'3" by the way
I'm 6'3" 230 and not feeling compelled to change mine, same as my 2015 and didn't really bother me..but..my buddy who weighs the same as me and also has a M8 RK just bought a wide touring Mustang and I sat on it and no doubt if felt more comfortable...however, it made me sit higher which made me lose the windscreen sweet spot, and it wouldn't work with my adjustable backrest, and it changed my arm position which I didn't like..so decided solving one issue only to introduce 3 others just ain't worth it
I'm 6ft, weigh 250 & have the Mustang Wide tripper Diamond stitch seat with backrest & the pillion pad for the wife. For me it's a great seat, & sits me lower & back too. Wife doesn't really like it, says it's not very comfortable, but I plan to add an Airhawk cushion pad for her. Will give her the extra padding & raise her up a bit too. I have a Sundowner seat too which is perfect for both of us, but it sits me higher & that I don't like. I'm liking the Mustang seat more & more every time I'm on the bike.
The last mustang seat I had was great.
Both of us could go all day do issues. That was on a softail standard.
The mustang did put me up and fwd a bit. With the wind screen the to is right in my line of sight so going down an inch would be good. Not looking to go up higher than stock.
Dealer about an hour away demos mustang will have to give them a try
