Again .. not my opinion .. taken from the horses mouth !
Buddy of mine desperately needed info on how to install a sound system in his bike, bought one of those videos for about $9.00 bucks, was worthless. That guy's a shady character and his info is about good enough to change a tire and even then i'd be skeptical the info was correct.
Service manual is pretty damn good for these bikes. If you have the tools not much it can't get you through.
many of the Channels with good content are fading because of You Tube changing the criteria for monetization. Before a person with a lot of Subscribers and Views could make plenty of money because of advertising allowing them to provide free content for the viewers.
A lot of long time You Tube Channels are going to Patron because of these changes. Once in a while a good ole boy will post a video how to do something simple out of the goodness of his heart however the ones who were making a living on You Tube will be getting real Jobs.
For the Record 90 an hour ant so bad, My Dealership (cars) gets $125 an hour in Phoenix.
Here are the instructions that came with the headlight:
Step 1. Secure motorcycle on side stand or appropriate work platform
Step 2. Disconnect battery
Step 3. Refer to Harley-Davidson Service Manual for installation instructions
What?!? What kind of Jedi mind trick is that?? I realize that the H-D Service Manual is extremely useful and probably one of the first things you should buy after you purchase your bike, but this seems like a cheap ploy to force people to buy one.
When I installed the Daymaker on my last 2 H-D's, they came with full instructions.
