This happened on my 2017 rgs all stock. Eng low oil light illuminated at about 9k miles. Service dept. found a bad seal between engine oil chamber and primary chain case. Eng oil migration into primary is no longer happening after this repair.
Did not happen in my case. The only indication was low oil on the stick.

you should have your oil sensor check. It seems it failed what is supposed to do. Detects eng oil abnormalities.

The primary is a separate chamber from the engine oil, and is not affected by the oil pump. So, no...migration in the primary is not affected by and improved oil pump...

Well I hope they've got all that crap figured out.My 2016 SGS just flooded in TS Imelda so it looks like I'll be getting a new M8.If I do buy new it will be a 2020.The new SGS's are too damn expensive especially with all that black crap on em.( no offense to all you black crap lovers). So I suppose I'll be getting a 107 and more than a little freaked out about all the sh*t I've heard on the M8's.I've also heard about most that have no problems whatsoever but my luck here lately has been heavy on the bad side.
