Yada,Yada,Yada,Put a fan on it and a Harley engine makes a great stationary farm engine!
Roller crank man,no white metal bearings to disintegrate!I am not the only one to use this harmless system to shake all the dirtiest oil out of everything. It does run for about a minute but it is not about time. The only restricting issue is to switch off when the hydraulic lifters drain and the tapetts get louder. The pump pressure is normal 15 seconds after restarting!
Anyway you guys carry on putting a cup of dirty oil back in your engines. This thread was not anything to do with procedure. It was about how I came to stumble onto the oiling Aliens
No I don't open the crankcase, just the oil filler and I think I saw the wind causing pistons and barrels when I fitted them to my Road King, three Streetglides and now the M8 which has Farting Aliens in it!
There is nowhere near a cup of dirty oil left in the oil passages if you let it drain for an hour. I am one of those who thinks you're looking for trouble by running it with no oil.
Not to mention that oil doesn't go bad or stop doing its job, it just gets contaminated. Oil left after draining and adding new is like spitting in a bucket of clean water. You'll never know after mixing it up. LOL

And here is where you can buy it. https://roguechopper.com/products/tw...-a-touring-kit
I really doubt you're hurting your motor by running it without oil for a minute, but it actually makes more sense to have the new oil push the old oil out. And this will solve your hurricane problem too.
