Replaced the rear shocks with Ohlins on a whim to hopefully give my wife's back a better ride. What a difference! Definitely recommend.
Now like many say the factory fronts are noticeably inferior.
Anyone have experience or recommendations with any/some brand to replace fronts on 2017-2018.
It seems most companies are still working on product for the front.
Thanks in advance for guidance.

Sometime just an oil change on the front can help , I've always liked a fork brace on the front of my hogs too.
I find that the new adjustable Emulsion shocks Harley have been fitting in improving upgrades, since 2015 are vastly superior to the originals!
The exception is the lowered rears fitted to the Street Glide. You can really feel there is an inch of travel missing. Just sorted mine by fitting the longer Ultra shocks and lowering back to the specified height with a Tamarak lowering kit.Awesome result for me and the Wife.
I dont have a problem with the latest Dual Bending Valve front shocks fitted since 2017!

Your advance search option for front end suspension kits will save you time.
So the new Showa dual bending valve fork is not working out for you?
I think it’s quite a bit better than on the 2014 I had. I’m also curious if anyone has replaced the new front end with either Howard’s or the Legend. I’m getting ready to swap out the rears with a set of Howard’s 2a adjustables, then the Pro-Actions to see the difference. I “hear” that once I do that..I’ll notice how poorly the fronts perform.
I know Howard’s stuff is top notch, and the Legends are good as well. Both come highly recommended on the pre 2017’s, but haven’t heard a comparison on the 2017 and up yet.
Howard from Motorcycle Metal is currently rebuilding my 3-3s. As soon as they get here they go on the new bike. Just today I ordered a set of Progressive Monotubes with FST (lowered) for the front end.
I ran my 3-3s with Monotubes on the RGU for about 30,000 wonderful miles. I expect the CVO will do even better.
