Sounds great. I just installed the 777 and it doesn't lope quite that much. Mine is nice but that 22X sounds great. Fuel Moto does say these cams need a lot of back pressure or you'll get a dip in torque in the low rpms. If you have baffles you may find more torque with them installed. I hope that first ride is awesome. Report back how you like it.

Well, the indy shop that installed my cam removed the baffle from the fuel moto head pipe and the baffles from the Grand National S&S mufflers. SO, when they tuned it had a huge dip in torque below 3500 and only got to 110 after 3500. It basically sucks. I have 90 foot pounds of torque where the stock bike was making 105-110 in the low rpms. I should have been very specific and told the indy shop to leave everything intact.
I put all the baffles in and have a dyno session with Trask Performance on Monday. This will fix all the issues I have with the bike. I'm expecting to get close to 120/120 from my 114". The 107" bikes with the 777 are close to 116hp/114 tq. I just need my low end torque back!!!!! I was really bummed when I got the bike back but come Monday I know Trask will tune it really well.

Ugh Man sorry to hear that sucks! If you don’t mind me asking what’s a dealer get to do that job? In between rain showers today I was able to go for a 10 mile ride noticeably different in throttle response and acceleration pulls nice right to the top I should bring it in to have tuned on dyno. Not sure what my dealer used when I bought it for a tune they installed exhaust and intake before I took delivery.

I didn't check with the dealer. The main reason is that my indy shop gave me their pricing on all the parts and their labor was cheap, like 360 for cam and exhaust. I got such a good deal on parts that I can't really complain. I'm guessing that I saved about 650-700 having the indy shop do the work. I hear a lot of people saying how cheap they get their cams installed at the dealer but I got S&S lifters, lifter blocks, quickee pushrods, Grand National Mufflers and cometic gaskets plus a Fuel Moto head pipe. The dealer wouldn't have discounted much maybe 15% max but these guys gave me dealer pricing.
If you don't have a tuner already, get it from Fuel Moto. Buy a Power Vision and have them install their 22X map onto it before delivery. They have done several of those combos. Probably have one with the Vance and Hines head pipe too. I'm pretty sure Harley of Scottsdale charges about 4 hours for a dyno session which would be 4 hours @$120. Trask Performance charges $450. I think I'll be really happy with their tune. They have a ton of dyno experience.
You might want to invest in a dyno session at least to know your good for A/F and timing through the rpm range. Glad yours felt good! I'm just waiting until tomorrow. I went out to the garage and cranked the bike again. Sounds really good. I'll report back tomorrow and let you know how it feels.

I’m loving the 22x after putting the stock head pipe back on. Bike is soooo smooth. Valve train is silent compared to the hd tq cam.
The 777 isn’t really a tq cam. Not sure your gona get the results you expect but I could be wrong. I ran the 777 in my twin cam with compression and 2-1 pipe and it was awesome but a little soft below 3k. Not sure about the m8 777.

Well, back from Trask. I didn't get the numbers I was looking for? I got like 114hp/ 112tq. It came in under the 222 in the same bike according to the Fuel Moto dyno charts. Looks like I'll be swapping it out for the 22X in a few weeks. I'm about to go on a road trip so maybe I'll fall in love with the 777 but right now its pretty soft under 3k. It's all bark no bite. Looks like I'll be joining the 22X cam club!

Nothing worse than making a change and not liking it. I’d say run a gear lower and you will be fun on the trip. 😊. 6th gear will be worthless unless you are running 90+. Have a great trip man. I’m also in Phoenix area. If you need help swapping cams just let me know. Haha
