let's be real for second shall we? They're selling a 124" bolt on kit. They average consumer is going to think, wow, I have a 107 and I'm going to a 124" and it should be a fast sumbitch, right? Instead it basically adds 4 -7 HP to a stock bike. Why sell the kit as it is? Why not include lifters, S&S 585, pushrods and headwork? It's like Fake News for Harleys.

Like I said previously, anyone that's ever been worked on a motor knows that this alone will not get you what you want, and their leaving out about $2k worth of components to get you what you really need. I'm not knocking the coating of whatever, I'm saying the dyno sheet for a 124": motor getting less than 1hp per CI is a flat out scam. 1.25 per CI is easily obtainable and FM is touching on the 170HP mark with their 124 build.
Jamie doesn't tell you to bolt on a pair of 124" cylinders, they show you everything you need to get it where you'd expect a 124" to be.
I'll be waiting another year then I'll pull the trigger on a build. I wanna see what the real gurus in this industry come up with before I tear into my bike. I bet we see 180Hp numbers out of a 124' build in the next 12 months.

They do offer the kit with the extras to make some serious hp and tq.

Revolution Performance 124" Speed Shop Kit (oil cooled)

(Fits 2017 and later Milwaukee Eight oil cooled 107" style motorcycles)

$6,165.18

  • Revolution Performance 124" Bolt-On Big Bore Kit
  • Revolution Performance Velocity CNC ported head services
  • Andrews Products .520 lift cam
  • S&S quick install pushrod kit with tubes
  • Feuling ARP complete stud kit
  • Feuling oil system for oil cooled applications (cam plate, oil pump and lifters)
  • Horsepower Inc. 62mm throttle body and injectors
  • Available in 2 colors: black and black highlight

When the TwinCams came out a shop in Baytown, Tx. modified one with a 131" kit. The left the stock cam, throttle body, and injectors on it. It made less than a hundred horse power, but it was making more than 130 ft/lb of torque. This kit seems to be about the same way. Leave everything stock except the cylinders, lots of torque, not much horsepower. The torque appears to be right at 130 ft/lbs.

I'm not saying it is a good kit or a bad kit. Just saying I think you're misinterpreting somewhat. A big motor has to be fed and the stock cam and throttle body aren't going to do it when the rpm's get in the higher ranges.

I think its very interesting tech, heat is the limiting factor in the m8 . The heads on a stock m8 are pretty good not a lot needed . How about a set of water cooled heads and jugs with some mods to the current cooling on m8

at the end of the day its all about the math more dis more avl power . I bet a 408 and springs or 22x with stock springs and 5.5 inj and these jugs/piston would make a thumper on a classic with 2up up just sayen. lets just assume u have exaust air and tuner. so 1200 bucks jugs pistons gaskets rings then around 600 for a cam kit. pluss or minus 300 with springs depending on cam .so for around 1800 you are in major power over stock and for around 2500 you are in with the big boys . show me a cheeper way to break 130 and stay under 2 grand and have daily driver not a weekend dyno dragger

yes the builders at fuel moto are on point , im betting that to stay on point the cyl tech will have to mature or u can kiss driving across country in the summer on a 160 horse maypop. least not my candy *** lol

I think sleeved jugs suck and there has to be a better way .china x sux it ,just my 2 cents
nothing feels like a big block tqing it out
just saying its worth a look and discussion

That $6,165.00 is a far cry from the 1299.00. My whole point was I think anyone looking at a 124: motor is looking for power, not inches. I'm hoping for that kind of coin it includes install and dyno time.
The kit is still missing the Intake, exhaust and tuner so add another $2k to the price. Now we're talking reality.
If labor is not included then it's a $10k package getting about 1.18 HP per CI. Still junk IMO.

I still don't see how they're getting 124" out of a 107" without case boring.

4.250 bore x 4/375 stroke gets you 124.129 cu in. You can bolt on 4.25 bore cylinders to a M8 stock engine case without boring the cases.

Those are the standard street gas values for 98% of the USA, there are still a few areas you can buy 93 octane but that's NOT a Street fuel any longer nor a build that has to use it a Street Build! There are some areas in the USA that you can only buy 85/87/89 too!

There is a law pending in our House of Rep (Federal level) that would mandate ALL gas be sold at I believe it's 95 octane. The thinking there is the refineries will not charge the much higher prices after they get this gas up and running for all to use and it will also help in fuel mileage. Like I said it's on the books but will it ever come up for a vote is anyone's guess.
