Talked to my dealer today. He said the official word will come out on the 26th to dealers and letters to customers. As mentioned earlier, parts start arriving to dealers 5 Nov. I made an appointment for the 20th of Nov as he feels confident he will have the parts by then and will sched based on order of folks calling to schedule.
I did not even say a word and the service manager said, no james we wont have the parts for a while ,I will buzz when we can pick up your bike and do the recall ,no i wont rat on ya laughing . I think he has way to much stress in his life and he thinks i dont have enough .
Talked to my dealer today. They are ordering all they can get there hands on. Will call me when there first shipment comes in. Fact is if the recall replacement isn't any better than the part on the bike now and the AIM does even 50% of what they claim HD can keep there junky slave cylinder.
I wish they would have left the sight glass on the M/C. Oh hell I really wish they would have left the cable. So be it, I checked the fluid level and it was a little low, No biggie, were hoping they get the recall parts so they can do that along with my cam chest work. Good Times!

I received my AIMS Light Force 2 days before the recall and haven't had a chance to install it yet. I'm wondering if I can just bring my RGS and the AIMS to the deal and have them install under the recall program.

Talk to the mechanic- have him use the AIM piece, return the take off piece to HD, and throw the recall kit in your saddle bag. He gets paid for the job, HD gets NHTSA credit for the recall completion, and you get the desired piece installed. \_ _/
