Interesting. I talked with a service idiot at my dealer and he acted like he didn't know a thing other than there was a recall. Didn't know anything about when the parts would come out or even what bikes were impacted.
Absolutely typical bottom-of-the-barrel-type of MoCo dealership employee right there. That's apparently the only kind of person who'll generally work for them. If he was in any way capable of doing even slightly better, he would be working somewhere else.
Just like with the brake fluid, the level will drop as the clutch wears.
Also, most of us are around the 2 year mark of ownership, which is the time specified to change the DOT fluid in brakes/clutch. Im guessing theyll be putting new fluid in the system?
Anyone know if HD is sending letters to owners yet or relying on dealers to contact them
I have not gotten a letter yet, but just got a call from my dealer to schedule the repair.
They told me since my exhaust was still stock it would only be 2 hours, but if it were aftermarket it would be 5 hours.
Not sure why the difference.
