Changing oil from dino to synthetic, or changing brands of oil has never made a damn bit of difference in engine noise in any Harley in my 40 years of riding them. People will swear that changing brands of oil will absolutely transform a bike. Never seen it. And I have run almost everything at one time or another. I think people are inclined to believe what they want after paying double the price for oil.

I can say having run Motul in my personal competition cars, and many race builds in the shop, that the lubricant's they have are no gimmick or marketing ploy. They are a very reputable and high quality lubricant manufacturer. I do not have any experience with their fluids on my M8, but might just make the switch at my upcoming 1k service.
