Default Winterizing

So I've read a few posts on guys putting their bikes up for the winter. I'm open for ideas on fuel additives, battery chargers, to lift it or not...etc. Tell me your ideas.

I always throw it on one of those smart chargers all year long now adays, takes the guess work out of the equation....

I like to shut the windows in the garage, keep the door shut and maybe locked too.

thats about it. Use heated gear to extend my riding season a bit.

Ive thought of some sort of low heat sourse to keep the condensation down for late fall and early spring, but then that thought passes

Mine goes up on the J&S jack, Smart battery tender plugged in, Amsoil or Lucas gas storage additive in the tank. Thermostat in the garage set to 50. All good...

Thorough cleaning, set tire pressures, StaBil in a full tank of gas, plug in the battery tender, breathable cover, see ya next April.

Default Winterize

Always fill with 93 octane (witch has a fuel stabilizer in it) plug in to a battery tender and start up bike and let it run a few times during the winter. Simple!

Ride to interstate, and head south. If road is icy, trailer to interstate and ride south.
