HD isn't always clear with their communication, but FWIW the service bulletin still has not changed since June regarding the primary vent. This leads me to believe they haven't changed anything on the bikes.

Definitely calling bs on the vent kit making a crank seal issue. A negative(vacuum) pressure would exaggerate oil leak past the crank seal and neutralizing that vacuum would only improve the issue. If anything a positive pressure would yield less leakage. They're selling snake oil to the uninformed.

Have not seen or heard of the primary vent causing a different transfer problem. And, as of today (Mar 9, 2020) the MOCO is still shipping out new vent kits to the dealers. I firmly believe this Macomb County dude has his own agenda to promote his own products. Too bad he is spreading fecal matter.

Well I have a 19 rgs. Noticed transfer at 5000 miles. Got the vent. Seemed to be doing good until recently. Dont know when, but it sure happened again. Checked today (05/24/20) at 14,700 miles. Transmission was damn near dry. Taking it to the dealer on Tuesday when they open.

Well that’s interesting. I don’t recall that being reported on any bikes that had the primary vent. Keep us updated.

Same happened to my 2019 RKS. At 5000 Miles the oil in the gearbox has gone to 300ml instead of the 900ml that should be in there. The dealer installed the vent and the problem seemed to be solved. Bud now at 10000 Miles it is almost empty again and the first three gears grind upon shifting. 6 june it goes to the dealer for his service and they will look into this also.

Why is this touring models only? I thought the only difference in build is a hydraulic clutch.
