If you are looking for more sound, you might get that, but as I said, it might cost some performance.
I've heard that as well, that performance wise there are things that work really well, and things that sound great but don't provide the power.

4" pipes are too big for a small block chevy lol. The larger the diameter pipe, the slower the pulses move through the pipes making the scavenging of the exhaust gasses from the heads less efficient. When you only have 1 cylinder feeding a pipe you have fewer pulses, necessitating a smaller diameter pipe. this is why a 2 into 1 pipe makes more power. there is a negative pressure area behind a pulse when the pulse from another cylinder comes closer to the pulse (because it enters the pipe in half the time it takes for a second pulse from the same cylinder) it accelerates to fill that void. the extra vacuum then pulls more gasses from the head. The trick is to get the diameter just right and in the case of a 2 into 1 having the lengths just right so the pulses enter the single pipe at the right time so the spacing of the pulses is optimized. If the pipe is too small then back pressure occurs causing gasses to be trapped in the head. Back pressure is bad mmmmkay.

I have a friend with the stage 2 toque cam, Rinehart slim duals with 4” mufflers. He is using the tuners your dealership is suggesting. His bike runs great.
I ran the same stage 2 set up but with the S&S El Dorado exhaust on 2 M8s with really good results.
