Pulled the filter to clean it like I do at all oil changes and my intake is still spotless for the last 2 oil changes. No sign of any oil at oil in the intake or breather tubes. Im satisfied with my purchase of the Trask checkm8
wow, great report and enough time to validate..big bore hp build ran hard with no external breather system and spotless intake is very compelling in favor of this product's benefit..think it's fair to say a clean intake would not be the case without it

Whether its the Trask or dumb luck or maybe Fuel Moto just built this 128 to be that good, Im not sure, but since FM sells it and believes in its benefits Im claiming victory on my purchase of the Trask unit.

you had to clean the TB before you added it right?..so no other change from the build, tune, whatever but the CheckM8 and then spotless? not a fan of coincidences so if this is true then that's what it is

Yes I had some build up in there in the past, it was never terrible like my last 107 M8 but it was some there. My 107 was a real pissah! Was always frosting the side of my bike like a cupcake.

ok, thanks..was just trying to understand if this did indeed solve an issue you were having and sure sounds like it made a big improvement in that area...our 107s were pukers too but our OEM 114 and 117 are real clean by comparison
I did the DIY version, 2018 Road King, metal trans cover. Drilled 21/64 and tapped 1/8 NPT, used the 5/16 fitting from my DYI vented dipstick. Drilled two holes in the cover gasket. Back to a normal dipstick no more hose hassle. Trans cover screws have compound on them - a tedious removal.
Bought a PCV reed valve & tucked under the seat, pictures attached. Reed valve ports are approx 1/2 inch.
Ported trans cover Reed valve wrapped and nested. Reed valve, I removed the bracket. Screws were tight needed vice grips.
I ditched the plastic check valve I was using, the reed valve is much less restrictive. Wrapped the reed valve so it wont abrade the wiring or frame. The vent filter is in the same place as before tucked in near ABS unit.
