Primary alot trans once a year but might let it go two with the red line. It always comes out like new even with 16,000 miles on it.

10k on the primary and transmission or once a year which ever comes first. Engine is 3-5k depending on riding conditions.

Every 10,000 miles for both as my Sportster shares the Primary Fluid with the transmission.

10,000 on primary....20,000 on tranny...........just like Harley recommends. Never a problem.

I change mine every 5000 miles when I change my oil. Not that much more money 2 buy 2 extra quarts of fluid. If I was taking into a dealer to have it done, I would only change it as required in the service manual.
