oil drip - revtech - newbie!!!
Greetings to all. I just read the posts on oil in breathers , etc but my situation is a little different.
I am not sure I understand what I was told so I thought I would throw it out to the forum.
I'm looking at a 91 FLHS chromed out to the last nut and bolt. Custom everything, 1500MI on a 96CID Delcron casing with revtech jugs and heads with the Evolution rocker boxes.
What he does have is a little pan under the bike. The explaination is ( and I will need to get more clarification ) that oil gets forced up into the rocker boxes (or where ever the breather tube is) and then when it sits, a little drips out. (or after you run it)
I'm really scoping this thing out - and the bike is one bad looking ride.
I've always had metric bikes so I made the joke of having to have a kitty litter pan under a harley - learning that it really did have a little pan under there. (no offense... just that era in the 70's I remember some would leak oil) thats when he told me about the oil situation.
OK.. what does this sound like to you guys. it obviously has a breather hose not going to the air cleaner ( which is a hyper charger (if that really does anything other than look cool???)
