Well, my 21 ESP started having some charging issues with the voltage dropping while at idle and then while riding. Thought it was a battery but it was good. Called harley and they came to pick it up to check it out. Looks like the charging system went out. Evidently the magnets came free and it wasn't charging right. THANK YOU ESP!!! New electrical charging system and only have the $50 deductible. Now just waiting to pick up my ride. Thankfully the dealership had the charging system in stock.
20,000. Bike already back. Had to replace the battery as well. Initial charge for battery was $220 but their website had it for $139.95. The tech stated that the knew they markex up produces but honored the online battery price. Battery and copay cost little over $200. With the parts and labor, the out of pocket fee without an ESP was quoted as being $3,500-$3,700.

So, if my stator grenades itself, my ESP was more than worth it.
$3500 is more than I paid for 5 years of ESP on my 2021 PAS with 14K miles currently on the odometer.
If I hadn't bought the ESP, it would've given up the ghost 1 month after the factory warranty expired.
Since I bought the ESP, I likely won't have an issue.
That's always been my luck. Well, my usual luck at least.

That's how mine started. While idle, the charging dropped into the low 13's and occasionally into the upper 12's the infotainment screen would also flicker the brightness but that was only noticed at night. When it started having charging issues while riding, o knew it had to be the charging system. My last ride before it went down, it dropped into the 10's and started surging while heading to work Thankfully, I was 5 minutes from the house and managed to limp it home. Died once due to loss of power but I was able to restart it and keep the RPMs up to get it home.
