Need help please finding a part #11037. It's a retaining ring that goes on the rod end. Same piece for both handshift and mousetrap assemblies
It looks similar to this
Goes here....
I measured the groove and it comes to .4225 which is roughly 27/64". Hardware store will probably carry 3/8" sizes but don't expect they will carry anything close to the actual measurement.
Only reason for asking is tha the flea has them but the prices (for one) are dope smoking bull$hit at $29-36 each. For that they can kiss my black cat's asz.
So if I can find them at the hardware store, will the 3/8 size be okay?
A bit more progress yesterday w/ kicker cover, right side passenger mount, kicker arm and front safety guard. Also refreshed the rear brake assembly and mouted it. It will need to come off again in order to get the squish pipe into the frame
Basically have the left side of the bike buttoned up and ready to go sans exhaust, wiring for generator and solenoid
Footboards are AM but a very nice replication of the originals.
The mats are the real deal. Spent almost 2 hbours doing the rivets to attach the mats to the footboards.
At days end...
And on a side note...The screws for the outer primary are chromed (correct according to Palmer's 3rd ed.) My originals were not. I think these are the only chrome screws and bolts on the 65. Guess it was MoCo's attempt to "dress up" the bike (along with the polished ring around the derby cover).
