If it were my dads 57 FL and the way my dad drove it and kept it would be the way i would always want to feel his presence when i rode it
if the memory of his bike is all you had like some -- you could never experence the real thing as a link to him
but son you have his machine in its original condition WHAT could be better than that
keep it at the level its in dont let a dope work on it and glass bead anything dont put buffers on it and try and make it something it is not and just enjoy his memory like he would have wanted you to do -- just my take -- jz
