Reaching out to the best travel agents. Heading to (trailering down, coming from Cape Cod 9 day trip) Nashville in July for a two days, Then heading to Pigeon Forge to do some real riding for the rest of the trip (Dragon on the list) Looking for recommendations of places to stay and ride at both places, also to keep truck and trailer safe while were not around.
Thanks in advance
Their is a Ramada, with secure parking and you can walk to down town Nashville/Printers Alley. It is across the street from the Stadium right off I65, even has a indoor pool shaped like a guitar. Would make a good base camp
My best suggestion would be to skip Nashville and spend your time in East Tennessee and West North Carolina. 1 week here will cover only a fraction of the good riding in this area. also go to www.touringdepot.com and click on the multi state tab. Good info there. I wouldn't waste an hour in metro Nashville. There isn't an bad road in East Tennessee.
Just search road trips Smokey mountains, you will find about 100 threads on it. But also check out Helen Georgia while there, really cool place and some great roads.
lol.....yes Nashville is a blast....we are here now!!!what a town!!!!good times down on Broadway!!1 last night there was a hockey game and the sold out Ryman both got out around 9pm....what a blast lines to get in everywhere (was a good thing)...
