There's no doubt I consider myself lucky to have been able to ride 18000 plus miles this year. I left many days on the table, but I don't really regret doing so, but the end of the season is sad just the same.

There are a few rides I still need to get done, such as The Tail of the Dragon, the Smoky Mountains, around Lake Superior, and even to the Harley-Davidson museum, which is really just a short ride away. Hopefully the future is bright!

 

There is some white stuff falling from the sky.......I don't like what I'm seeing.

 

It has snowed twice in the past few days, and may do so again on Sunday afternoon....but I refuse to give up hope! I have faith in the Mother Nature and I'm sure there'll be another 40 degree day, suitable for riding this coming week.

 

They are calling for sun on Tuesday here… If so I shall go for a ride

 

Well look what I did today after work.

Nice and sunny. I almost forgot about the stiff breeze and cool temps.

My 57th is in 2 weeks. I'm guessing it won't be 81, but I'm still hoping to get in a ride.

Now they’ve instituted gas rationing… And there’s lineup at the gas pumps… And here comes the Effen rain again…

 

Well that sucks.

 

I got out again today. Went to Le Claire Iowa, then up to Savanna Illinois, and from there it was back to home.


I did put on my cold weather gear....56 isnt exactly shirt riding weather.

While at lock and dam 13 I got the Canon 5D Mark IV out, and got in some eagle photography, even though they were way far away. 420mm of reach still required much cropping.
