Left work early Thursday and was on the bike by noon.


55 degrees and sunny, on December 2nd...yes!


Along the Illinois River, just outside Starved Rock.

One hell of a lawn ornament.


Not a bad 4 hours.

The man who gave me my passion to ride, my Dad, passed away yesterday at the age of 78, after battling several health issues. I will take him on a Friday Rideday with me next season, and he will get one more ride on his Night Rod.

Sorry for your loss, that sucks. Lost my father 4 years ago & he didn't even make it to 70. Kinda makes me rethink my saving for retirement strategy. He never took care of himself which was a big part of the problem...
