We have always stayed up on 123rd. Since Hooters closed down, there doesn't seem to be much action uptown anymore. I love watching bikes, and we had been searching for something below Route 90 in the heart of the action. The 123rd place got sold this year so we found a killer place right across from the convention center. Paid through the nose for it, but its the Mrs.'s birthday and she wanted it, so she got it. The place is huge and we have 3 other couples staying with us to help offset the $$.

I'll be sitting on a balcony directly across from the convention center watching a billion bikes, sipping expensive bourbon, and having a blast doing nothing. Everyone be safe, and watch out for Hurricane Helene.
