I bought my Heritage with touring in mind as I have several trips I want to take over the next few years. I’ve got two planned for this summer. Both are semi whimsical. One is solo, the second is with my son. First one I’m doing is a border to border run from Sumas, Washington to Calexico, California and back via the PCH. Second one with my son is tracing the border of Washington state. Both trips will be predominantly camping.

Going to 3 Rivers in Pittsburg, Niagara Falls, Canton HOF, Ohio State Reformatory/Shawshank, Gross Burgers, Bloomington, Harley Musem, Lambeau Field, Indy Speedway, and finally a Reds game on the way back to SC. Why, there's still so much in the US we haven't seen and I get to ride to all of them....

Well except for 6 days riding in the rain the trip ended up being 3271 miles in 9 days and we got to everything but the Reds game. Lambda Field was a great day and the Harley Museum and Niagra were very cool. The new rain gear can in very handy and worked well except for that bad storm in Indianapolis last Friday. Next year we'll go West see if we can find any better weather in the Rockies.
