Not "Fair Weather" Riders!!!!
We had to drive down close to Detroit and it was a "downpour"!
A couple of times I experienced some "hydroplaning" so for most of the ride towards Detroit I remained a or under the speed limit.
Once we had arrived home, one of my friends called me to say that he had something to tell me that I probably wouldn't believe!
I jokingly blurted out "motorcycles in the rain", which I think surprised him!
"Yep" he said! Two fully loaded baggers being ridden by two fully "rain-geared" die-hard bikers heading south on I-75 in Auburn Hills, MI----destination unknown
If this was you, or if you know these guys, they have our admiration as we have been in the same situation many times! Safe riding guys!
For me, there's a big difference in getting caught in the rain vs leaving when it's rain but I've done both plenty of times.
Have been to ALL states but not all on a motorcycle, but I did ride to AK and I did ride in HI !
