And here's the convenience store located at the gas station
https://www.google.com/maps/place/De...4d-129.9899238

It also lists a phone number if you want to call and check the hours.

Definetly not like the 24 hours stations in NY where I live. Hope the links work.

If we are up in BC, I am not so sure it is recommended to ride back down to Deerfield Beach FL to fuel up. The PIX above shows a Chevron station in Deerfield Beach FL. LOL But then, I am been wrong before. (Not like CR who is always right. 'juss ask him. LOLOL )

YES he (Deek) would take his own personal bike. The one above is rented since he flew into AK.

He is not sure abt how late the fuel stops are open.

It appears by the PIX, there is snow on the ground. THAT I would not do. No other stoppers but the snow? Not for me. I need some degree of psychological comfort with traction. Hard pack. Ok. Some mud/slush....understandable. Snow? SNOW?? Again -->

I know MonoGeezer would do it bcs he IS .

Can't catch me. Peeeeeooooooowwwwww...........
Thanks BC, good info, seems to coincide with what I see from others. I believe it's quite doable for me but it will depend on weather, I certainly won't take off for that sign if there's rain. Are you sure there's actually snow in that photo? It looks more to me like it's just a cloudy image.

Sorry guys but the link I posted doesn't seem to be working right.

Maybe this one will work.

https://www.petro-canada.ca/en/perso...ampaign=suncor

Looks like the gas station is only open from 10AM to 6PM. Getting a room & fuel was a good reason to get off the road early.

I was up there in June, and the only snow, was the snow up high in the mountains from the last winter.

I can ask him if u like. I think in the 1st PIX. I questioned it too so I looked closely and I am sure I say tire tracks in the snow. And another indication whatever it was of the same kind.

Yeah, I just looked again. Look at his tires. They seem to be in snow tracks. As well, look into the trees, the ground around the trees. It appears to be snow. I have not been wrong so far this year so I hope this is not my 1st.

But here is the "whose been wrong and how many times" log below.

CandianRocky: 18,431

14GP: 2 times. Both due to bad links he LOVES to post.

GM: -4 <-- Yeah he has a credit of 4. Pretty good.

IronAss: Eleven-teen. We are not sure what eleven-teen is, but it is IA, so it could really be anything.

Can't catch me. Peeeeeooooooowwwwww...........

I forgot b55, sorry.

b55: -6 <-- That is a credit of 6. One per each letter in the word Alaska. Hey, I don't write the rules. Peeeeoooowww.......

Yes we know our snow up in these parts. There would be some pack on his tires and also you would see it by his boots but now a couple other things interest me. He doesn't appear to be packing much, if any, extra gear and he's not even wearing gloves. I suppose this all makes sense given he's rented the bike locally just for this trip, there is the Yukon River Camp to refill fuel and the temperature is apparently reasonably mild.
