Off-Roading in the Ottawa Valley (Pick-Axe Loop)

In September a few friends and I took two Pan-America's and a Ducati Multistrada on a multi-day trip in the Ottawa Valley on a route called the Pick-Axe Loop.

Motorcycles only or do they allow Jeeps on the road?

Most of the loop is regular gravel roads so on those for sure. The northern section of the loop would be too tight for jeeps. Maybe you could fit a side by side...maybe.

Great video! I bet a more aggressive rear tire would have helped with the more challenging sections.

Well done! Your video kept me interested all the way through. Every time I get this crazy notion that I want to get an Adventure Bike and ride through the woods, I watch a video like yours and see just how challenging it can be. I shake that thought from my head and realize I am much better off on pavement.
