I took a few days off work and rode the old V-Rod to Ashville where I stayed a few nights. I spent some time on the Blue Ridge Parkway and took a day to go to Deals Gap.
Nice ride. Always good to see a V-Rod out and about. Sometimes I wonder where H-D would be if they had stuck with the V-Rod and Ulysses.
Looking Glass Falls!
Nice post! I did go to the area but did not really explore other than riding the Dragon. I regret that.....I need to fix it by going back!
I went solo because no one wanted to go in a slow time of year in mid September. Look at that empty parking lot! The Dragon had a few riders....great fun and a memorable ride.

You definitely need to go back ... I've been in 46 of the 50 states and that section of the country is made for motorcycles ... Some of the best roads in the country with scenery ( and people ) to match
Wife and I rode out there for the first time two weeks ago. Did tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, Wheels Through Time.......it was great trip through some amazingly beautiful country.

I was there in end of April and I can't wait to go back. I really believe it is my favorite part of the country and I hope to retire in the area someday.
