I'll know by spring if I'm going. I would be up for getting together for a ride.
As for the cabins I believe they rent for $2,000 for the week of the rally. Another quiet place to stay is Cottonwood Creek Camp. $75.00 for the week if you tent it. Stayed there in 2008. You can get a good nights sleep and not worry about someone riding their bike thru your tent in the middle of the night.
No, i actually ride my bike.....don't park it in one place for a week....
Two long rides this year....about 9k times two.......
Sturgis is a the last place i would spend a week besides maybe downtown Detroit.....
Like others have said......my bike goes on a trailer ONLY if it's broke down.....
Hold on brother, no one said anything about a trailer.........Where the F did that come from? I am riding out there. Looks like you are throwing stones when you don't know **** about what is going on. Oh, I get it, you like to stir the pot. Why else would you come in to a thread that has nothing to do with you and post some dumb **** like that.....I get it now....Just a bored little fire fighter!!!!!!!!!!!
There's a few of us Cheeseheads in northwest Wisconsin considering a run the week before and staying for the first few days of the rally. Nothing set in stone yet and not sure which way we would travel. We could head through St. Cloud and over through Wilmar and Marshal on hwy 23 to avoid the cities and the 4 lanes.
I'll be there. 3 or 4 of us riding out from Santa Barbara, CA.
Stayed at the Best Western the last 4 years. Probably stay there again this year.....too much of a wuss to camp these days!!

Let us MN boys know.....We plan on headin that way too. Through St. Cloud.
Quit going as soon as it turned into "trailer week."
Well, that's your deal...... .Like I said before my group plans on RIDING out there..... This post wasn't intended to turn into a "bash" on Sturgis or those who decide to trailer in..... It doesn't bug me that they wanna trailer in, it's just not my style. I ride everywhere I go. So if you're not going and just wanna bash people that are, find a different thread. I think I saw one for debates about Sturgis. We are going and this thread is for people that may wanna meet up.....simple as that.....nothing more nothing less....

Might be going but am starting a new job this coming week and not sure I can take the time needed off. Would be heading through St. Cloud down MN. 23 starting out near Mille Lacs lake. If I can swing it I know a couple dudes that might wanna ride we could certainly hookup with ya.
