Washington, DC to Buena Vista, CO - looking for recommended roads
looking at a trip out west off the slabs. leaving from northern va and arriving in buena vista, CO. great road are a must. could give or take twisties. have 3 weeks for out and back. hitting any casinos or poker rooms on the way would be a great. staying roadside, camping or local motels. eating at mom&pop type places.
any recommendations? roads/sites/accommodations/eateries/anything...

If you come into Denver take 285 south to get to Buena Vista, thru Colorado Springs, 24 west, or Pueblo take 50 to 285 and up.
Sorry, don't have any other great suggestions for roads, but once you're in Buena, plan on having dinner at Quincy's.
