Ok have stayed at Hog Heaven for the past four years and were thing about trying the Broken Spoke out side of town this year, the pool sounds like fun. Can any one compare the two or does any one have an opinion on the Bropken Spokes food, rest rooms/showers and how loud it is all night.

Besides possibly more noise and little sleep you may have to fight the traffic getting through Sturgis every day to do some riding. Eagles Landing on the west end of Sturgis has been reasonable in the past but I have not stayed there for about 5 years.
Stayed at Tilford Gulch last year in Piedmont, SD. About 10 miles outta Sturgis. 24 showers, kitchen & cold beer. Quiet at night & about 1 minute off of the freeway. Definately staying there again.
i have been staying right in sturgis with good luck. nice lawns on the north side of town.
I keep telling my buddies that we should try staying right in Sturgis. How does it work? Rent tent space in the front yard and get bathroom privileges? Shower? How much?

Care to elaborate?
many home owners bring in showers and porta pottys. just ride some side streets and they advertise tent space.
Ihave stayed 3 times at days end campground in Sturgis and lots of shade clean showers and bathrooms and not nearly as loud as you would think. It so nice staying right there especially if you wnat to tip a few in Sturgis proper. No reservations needed just roll in. the yard thing you see all over sturgis and prices vary but never too expensive.
