Default Chicago bound

Got flamed for posting this in touring models so here goes:

Taking the ole lady for a little weekend r&r. We've been to Chicago a few times but nothing really impressed me. Anybody know of something cool to do/see, maybe a bar? Open to suggestions.

What's the must see/do's?

Unless you are going to Chicago on your motorcycle, this is the wrong place to post. Seriously, I have never been to Chicago, so other than being a smart ***, I can be of no help.

Lots to see and do.
1- Uno's or Due's for deep dish pizza, but I think Gino's East is the best
2-Lou Mitchells on Jackson just west of the River: traditional start of Rt 66 (just one block west of there) Breakafast only Double yoked eggs
3-See if you can take the Architecture tour either on the River or on foot. The boats are at Michigan Ave and the river.
4- Al's Italian Beef on Ohio. "dipped with"
5- the Willis tower observatory
6- Take a ride on the "El"
7 - Take the "El " to wrigley Field. See if you can get a tour of it

8- shopping at Water Tower Place
9 - a show at Second City
10- LIncoln Park Zoo- a zoo in the city
11- The lakefront 26 miles of lakefront: Chitown's pride and joy
12- Art Institute on MIchigan Avenue, and walk around Grant Park
13-Navy Pier
14 Adler Planaterium or Shedd Aquarium call for shows and ix

Al's or Mr. Beef is good for Italian Beef.

Being from Chicago, I HATE Chicago style pizza, so I look for New York style "pie", but if you gotta try it, Gino's East or Lou Malnati's is good.

Chicago Hot Dogs....Gene and Judes (don't ask for Ketchup, they get mad) or Portillos.

Navy Pier is cool, and this weekend is supposed to be nice, so it could be fun. Go to Millenium park and look up Marylin Monroe's dress and check out the bean!

The Sears Tower sky deck is cool.

If you have a hankering for an amazing steak, the Chop House bone-in fillet is amazing. Rosebud on Taylor Street is the best Italian close to the city. Coast sushi on Damen is the best sushi in the world and there is always groups of hot chicks there at all times.

You can walk Michigan avenue and shop.

Chicago, other than its politics, is a very cool city to hang out in. The suggestions above are good ones. There's a lot to see, and if you stay near the downtown area, everything is within walking distance.

And don't forget to stop in some of the nice churches. They're very accommodating. Cracked me up.
