Default Deals Gap in April
Has anyone been to Deals Gap during the last half of April? How is the weather for riding? Just trying to get an idea so I'm well prepared. Starting in Omaha and headed to Townsed TN for a couple days. While we are there we plan on riding the Tail a couple times; Should be fun. Thanks.

It can be hit or miss. I was there in early April a few years ago and it was cold, rainy, and visibility was very poor.

we have gone the last 3 years in april to gatlinburg, and just reserved our cabin for next april (the last week of april) and its been warm and nice each year. praying for good weather again this year. hope you have a good trip!

Thanks Kyle. Yeah we got a cabin right outside of Townsend TN for around the same time frame. I'm with you on the praying for good weather!

Thanks Michael. I think we are going to be on the dragon on Thurs & Fri & taking off from Townsend headed west on Saturday morning.

We usually go in Oct , missed it this year due to bad weather we didnt go . Usually go to Eureaka Springs in April but next April we or gunna go to the Smokies also .

There is a lot of good riding around the smokys and over into Cherokee NC and up into Ky via hwy 25. My back door!
