Three possibilities.
The valve guides may be a little worn. You won't see white smoke as the cat does a good job of burning it.
An injector may not be closing and the excess gas is washing the oil off the cylinder wall and the oil ring not sealing enough so more oil is passing into the engine.
If it is an injector a few tanks with injector cleaner will solve it.
Valve guides are not that pricey to replace.
The last and most common is the oil going into the breather from the engine. Many solve that by running a half quart low or changing the engine to vent into a catch can.
But I don't know much. Just ask my wife and she will tell you that.
