I just bought a 2018 CVO Road Glide. It just doesn't fit me. I am six four and I had to do a lot to my 2014 Street Glide to make it fit me. I have ordered most of the parts ( extended brake and shift levers, extended floorboards, handlebars) but I am really having trouble with the seat. Does anybody have any good options for using the original seat but getting it back further for a tall guy? I contacted mean City and they do not do CVO seats. Any ideas?
I'd take a ride up to Hollister and have Corbin make a custom seat for you. I bought a Dual Tour off the shelf and fits the wife and myself just fine. Schedule an appointment. They will spend the day making your seat. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the ideas guys. I haven't been to Corbin but I have been thru 3 c&c seats over the years. It is cool to go there and get them to make just what you want.
I think Corbin might be a little too firm for me it you are right I should at least check them out.
When I live in Southern Cal. I had JP Custom Seats in Canoga Park reshape and reskinned a seat for my 2012 FLHTK. It was perfect after they were done . Give them a call

I have a 2018 CVO Limited. The seat is honestly a beautiful piece of work. Color match stitching looks awesome. But for me that is where it ends. I am 6" tall 240lbs and a) the seat has me way to high and b) it's so "Bucketed" it has my nuts up in my throat. If you look at the bike in the picture I have, you can see the distance from where it goes up on the tank back to the backrest is extremely small. It really is way too bucketed. Like you I called Mean City Cycles thinking this seat is very workable, just needs to be modified a bit, but no luck. They won't touch a CVO limited seat.
On my previous ride, I had a mustang Super Solo with drivers backrest and a passenger pillion. It was a little hard, but at least I sat down into the bike/seat and I had comfort in the crotch. This may be the route I go again if I can't get use to this Premium stock seat.
