Big savings going to the H-D 2020 8 lobe oil pump. Most the rest looks looks pretty reasonable. They do quality work.

Kinda weird an oil pump seal is on there. I would have thought the s&s pump came with one. I assume they just cut the pushrods instead of taking the tank/rocker box covers/rocker boxes off. I took the stuff off on my softail so I could reuse my pushrods to keep cost down. But you'd be paying more in labor having someone do it. Maybe an hours worth. If you're going to trailer the bike there, maybe pull the exhaust off before they get the bike to save on some labor.

Riding it there... FM is about 15 miles from me. I don't think they even have openings until June they mentioned. Should get an appt scheduled sometime early next week once I talk to them about the oil pump. I'm hoping maybe they can work me in being local if I drop my bike off for a few days. I'll ask for sure.

We have the H-D upgraded pump kits in stock and gladly install them no problem, this would fall within our warranty as well. We’re happy to adjust the estimate to meet your objectives, excited bo be working with you again

You guys are always great and I figured you would! I didn't even know about the New HD 8 lobe pump, so glad I asked.

FM used the HD 8 lobe when they built my 128, it’s ran like a champ since it left Wisconsin. Would a S+S or Feuling pump have been better…..I don’t have the knowledge to answer that but not sure I would ever be able to tell the difference unless I saw one of those shiny pieces in place before the cover went back on.

What he said... Am running a 128 S&S with a Zippers 548 cam. It is awesome!

Warranty in the lower 48 for 2 years, and more if you extend your HD warranty … great platform once warranty is over to go bigger with cam, programmer switch, etc. Different paths friend

The SE 128/131 kits include a one year warranty on the parts however when installed by an authorized Harley-Davidson Dealer within 60 days of the vehicle purchase compliant kits do not impact the vehicle’s limited warranty. This is indeed a very good option for some riders, from a warranty standpoint it would be most beneficial if the SE kit is installed at the time of new bike purchase. The FM kits offer a considerably higher level of performance; if we do the complete installation we offer a 2 year, unlimited mileage warranty thru our company or one of our dealers upon pre-approval.

Got everything nailed down with FM yesterday. Long wait till May to get the work done, but going with the Woods 22X-E CAM, HD 8 Lobe Pump, HD Ventilator Air Cleaner, Dyno Tune. My bike already has the Jackpot 2-1-2 Header and Hi Roller Mufflers. Can't wait till spring!

Also am getting this Boom II Audio upgraded this month. Including getting the new Boom Box HU as well. Now I'll have Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, but much faster boot times and Bluetooth connection times.
