I'm traveling again and while I have a '09 SG on hold for me back home I've come across a beautiful '04 SE Electra Glide in black/blue! It is in perfect condition and even has a detachable tour pack, with upgraded pipes etc. It has about 30k miles and was a one owner bike from a local who alway had it serviced here. They are asking $20k.
I'm looking for anyone who has had experience with this year model bike and any other thoughts on price etc! I'm going to go ride it today!
The tour pak (chopped or full) was an option. I just sold mine with alot of modifications (chrome, headwork, geardrive cams, chopped tourpak, Baker 6-speed DDS, PM front calipers and a whole lot more) 29,000 MILES for $17,300.
The standard 6-speeds and 110's hurt the resale.
I did just buy a 05 SEEG with hi-comp pistons, comp releases, S&S gear drive cams, Feuling oil pump and lifters, chopped tourpak, 12,000 miles in excellant condition for $16,750.
i got mine in Feb, 1900 miles 200 Fatbagger,18 inch solid chrome rear wheel... got all the original parts..paid 19.500..probably paid to much, but that rear fender and tire was the seller for me
Well I got my new bike! 18k and IRS cherry! Love it! Curious to hear from other owners of 103s who have done cams and/or 6 speeds! Once I figure out how to upload a picture from my phone I'll get a pic posted.
