Default CB Not Functioning

Folks.

Finally got a break from the nasty N/West weather this last week and got a chance to place some miles on the new ride and I love it!!!

Now for the problem, everything appears to be working as advertised except for the CB (which I use when group riding or on the highway around trucks)...symptoms:
- When I key the mic and talk evidently no one can hear me or hear me "break"
- When others key, the radio/ipod/etc cut out as designed, but no audio
- All other audio features appear to be working (AM/FM/iPod/Wx/Intercomm)
- Radio does not throw any diagnostic errors/codes

I'm familiar with setting squelch and volume; I've had others look at it; and yesterday the Dealership took a stab at it...has anyone heard about this on other bikes (particularly either of the 2012 CVO Touring Bikes)?

Have you tried using the CB with the speaker rocker switch in all the different positions? On a recent trip the CB seemed to only work when the radio audio was going through the helmet speakers not the fairing. Took me a half day of riding to figure out what the hell was going on. At the end of a 4 day trip I tried switching the radio audio back to the fairing speakers and tried the CB again. Ahhh the magic of electronics.....it healed its self.

Mine was doing the same thing. A wiring harness under the fairing was plugged in wrong.

@La Vic - Yup, tried that day one...crossed my fingers as it was our first "public" ride and I volunteered to help out the Ride Leader.

@ Snuffy - This actually what I suspect, but since the bike is only a month and half old (from the crate) I am gonna let the Dealer tech figger it out.

@ Flyburch - Yup, Comm is on and the squelch is as far down as possible without being open.

UPDATE: 2/16
Heard from the Service Manager last evening....evidently there were two wires crossed in one of the connectors associated with the audio system, I will get the bike this evening and: 1) Get the fix details; 2) Verify all is good.

UPDATE: 2/17 - FINAL
Service Manager was close, it was two wires...but they were lose in the main connector going to the CB unit. Evidently this is one of the most common issues that they find with new bikes from the factory. In looking at the connectors it's not surprising, while they are good when the pins are fully seated it is apparently easy to rush an assembly and not get the "click" of a seated pin. Oh well, all is good once again, thanks gang for pointers it lead the Dealer tech in the right direction.
