I changed my mirrors. I installed the Harley mirrors with the built in blind spots. I can't see good out of the round mirrors. I am blind in my left eye due to a motorcycle wreck many years ago. Makes it difficult to see vehicles on my left if they are in the blind spot. The spot mirrors are a life saver for me. The problem is they only come in chrome. The originals were black. The black probably looks better but I need the spot mirrors. I went to a glass place to see if they could remove the mirrors from the frames, but they said no. I wanted to have them powder coated. Guess I will just live with chrome..
The glass would have to be removed in order to powder coat them. Local glass company said no way to get glass out without breakage. If I could get the glass out, I would powder coat.

I like how they look - a good mix of dark and chrome on the bike. And being able to see behind and beside can be important.
