I just double checked the rotor side of my front wheel and there is no spacer there. What looks to be a spacer is the GMA caliper that has the axle going through it. This appears to be the caliper I have:
And Stock... it would have been a Spacer!!!
Rules out the left side tho!!! Now yer ditching the Hubcap and using a FLT/FLHT speedo drive [right side and a bit Longer!!] I don Not think you can get where you are trying to go and keep the hubcap.... But...Maybe with some creativity!!!
So if I did try to attach one to the right side would I need a new wheel hub for the little drive tab to fit into?
As I recall, the Softail Springer uses a small milled notch right in the Hub!!
