Is there a specific side for each shock? I haven't covered rear shocks in the service manual yet. I will study it tonight, but I've always assumed the side where the bushing sticks out goes in towards the frame.
Unless the bushing is not meant to stick out more on one side than the other... lol. They're in pretty rough shape. I have no idea by looking at them bc they could be way more worn than I think they are.
If both shocks mount on loosely, with the bike jacked up for proper alignment, is that a good indicator that both shock springs are equally adjusted?
I have no expertise in suspension.
