To me its valve guides worn or the seals are tin and stopped working

the rubber seals require late lower retainers and different valve springs as they are lower and drops the pressure - but they work the rubber seals

Okay got everything off. Pistons, Heads, found one valve guide was broken on the exhaust front where the oil leak was coming from.
Don't understand why it was leaking on the Rocker gaskets they were metal.....and the Head gasket top was Fire Rings...paper gasket for bottom base jug. Everything clean up ready to take it to shop. Pistons are ready...Don't have the equipment to do the heads or finish the jugs. Hopefully it won't cost me a arm and leg to finish her. Have the stuff to put her back and running.
Thanks for all the help...

Have question on some gaskets on ebay. It's a James Gasket for Cylinder & Head Gaskets
Kit# JGI-1677O-66-S
Get it for $24.93
Cylinder Gasket is Blue.....doesn't mention a fire ring.
Do you mine taken a look and see if this is a good set.
I know the fire ring gaskets aren't cheap...
On the Yamabond Liquid gasket never used this before usually I used Copper Coat Spray.
Do you put this on both Head & Cylinder Gaskets on both sides. Thanks for looking....

Buy the cometic head gaskets in MLS type they are the real deal today - ( multi layer steel with a soft alloy center ) good for 15to1 compression nothing on them

base gaskets we use the spray can - and spray them with hylomar blue gasket stuff only - but Yama bond #4 also does the job

the rocker boxes we use the tin or the paper but we coat them both sides with Yama bond #4 only it’s a semi hardening gray paste - works real good

the James gasket in blue we use those to hang small plants on a hook -
