After debating it for a year - today I made the choice to ditch the starter and go kick-only on my build.
Mainly doing this because it's impossible to find a horseshoe to fit 4 speed cowpie and starter. My question is: What are my options now for primary cases? Can I just mill the inner and outter flat, then weld in some material to cover up the holes? This rookie is open to suggestions here.
There is a blank plate to block off the starter hole. Otherwise cutting off the starter hump and plating the hole would be a big job but would look cool.

I have access to a multi-million dollar shop, so I'm not worried about material/tools etc. I also have a professional source on hand to coach me/help so I'm not too worried about that to be honest. Just kinda exploring options right now. Can I run the older primaries, like on a Pan or will that not fit with my clutch assembly etc?
Go direct to Paughco or look up Midwest or Jireh cycles. I've used the custom wrap around tanks in several shovel build. That Wag website is tacking $300 extra on the price tag.
