Sounds to me like your timing weights (spark advancer). There should be no side to side slop in the weights. If there is then they're worn out and they'll drag against the back side of ign. plate and raise hell with your advance. After the weights get a little warmer everything tightens up and away you go. Spend 20 bucks on a new set of weights.
Hope I dont lead you astray but Ive seen itmany times.
Kick
Well i checked the voltage on the coil, ground side of the meter to the bottom of the coil going to the electronic ignition, the positive side of the lead going to the top of the coil . When running it only produced 8 volts ....if i went from the top of the coil to the actual ground of the bike i get 12v..... could the ignition not be giving a good enough ground for the coil to work properly?
I see the proper voltage at the battery while running.....and i replaced the kill/start switches.
Replaced the dyna s ignition and that did it, bike doesn't stall or have any problem at all.
Thanks for all your help.....keep this one in the memory banks...it was an odd one.

Glad you found it.. Never would have thought an ignition module would act that way....
