Thanks. Ive been thinking about putting forward controls on my FXB and wanted to see what these looked like. Looking for something like these for mine.

The Sturgis has a low seat height and at 64 years old I'm apparently not as flexible as I used to be because I cannot comfortably use the mid controls. I ride on the highway pegs and shift and brake with my heals. I'm looking for a forward control set that looks like something from the period, not the bulky CNC machined pieces that I see today. Several years back I bought Drg Spclties kick that had a great look, but was for a 82 and up FXR and was just different enough not to work. So I'm still looking.
Before passing on the forwards to a new home, I'd ride the mids for while and make sure they work for you. I had them on my RT and could never get comfortable in that position. If I would have kept the bike I would have had to put forwards on it.

Kinda where Im at with a 79 Im helping a newcomer with. Had forwards, wanted mids, gathered all the goods and now hes cringing because they look so heavy and clunky, see a version of forwards going back on at some point.
Hes coming into Harleys on a beater shovel off high end eurotrash dual spots and BMW street bikes and keeps using AI searchs for advice on whats best, then I get to spend time explaining why it wont cross over to the old iron like 13 shocks off a Dyna AI said he wants, 😬.

I originally had mids on my sporty chop & with a low seat & no rear socks, I much preferred them to forwards. Being able to take my weight off the seat before I hit a pothole was awesome!
Unfortunately, I had to switch to forwards since I don't have the flexibility in my left ankle to control the clutch properly at that angle (thanks bike wreck), but shifting gears isn't a problem. I may decide to go jockey shift on the Shovel, but my plan for right now is just a regular clutch & shift.
